About me

I am an 18 year old aspiring performer based in Cardiff. My first language is Welsh and being Welsh is important to my identity. I'm currently registered with Phoenix Casting Agency. Through the agency, college and other companies, I've worked on shows like Casualty, starred in productions such as Jasmine in Aladdin, Ariel in the Little Mermaid, Miss Sherman in Fame, Mama Morton in Chicago and Persephone in Hadestown.

Performing has always been my first love. Even as a child, I wanted to be on stage because I genuinely enjoyed being part of something so special. My turning point came in Year 6 when a new teacher cast me as Fiona in Shrek Jr, my first lead.

Stepping into new characters and stories helps me grow and express myself in ways everyday life doesn’t. I enjoy the challenge of each role and the chance to connect with audiences in different ways. Even imperfect performances teach me something, and the teamwork and bonds formed during rehearsals are one of my favourite parts of the process.

I’m excited to take my experiences further by exploring different performance styles and understanding acting methods and behind-the-scenes work. I want to develop as a confident, adaptable artist. Performing has shaped my resilience and self-belief, and now I’m ready to shape my future with it.

Outside education, I’ve developed my skills through years of amateur theatre, playing roles in ensemble, and working hard for leads like Princess Jasmine. These roles taught me teamwork, discipline, and the value of earning responsibility. Performing in Lord of the Flies and A Midsummer Night’s Dream strengthened my focus and stage presence, especially when sharing the role of Puck with three others.

I’ve also worked on camera, appearing in a Merlin Annual Pass advert with recurring voiceovers and doing extra work for several years. This taught me on-set etiquette, how to take direction, and gave me insight into professional productions.

Training in jazz, ballet, tap, and hip-hop has improved my versatility, and performing in London, winning at the Urdd with my hip-hop group, all boosted my confidence.

All these experiences have shaped me into a disciplined, committed, and versatile performer, ready to take the next step in my training.
